Hotel Florida - Lisbon

Very comfortable Hotel almost making you stay in rather than go out. Large rooms and very accommodating staff.

Poor breakfast and somewhat pricy. The location is great for business but for pure tourism it is not in the thick of things. Of course the metro is only a minute away and you can get to the heart of Lisbon within a short time.

Convenient location - metro nearby, buses. Great breakfast, nice view from the window.

You can hear the neighbors and corridor.

bathroom had a smell at times, noisy rooms (not from outside, this is clear because it's very central and closing the windows kept the traffic noise out but internal noise from other rooms)

The spacious room had a charming vintage style and boasted a quiet atmosphere despite being near a lively area. Housekeeping kept everything impeccably clean. Breakfast included an excellent selection, especially the poached eggs and fresh fruit, good. There were moments when the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, leading to slight delays in service. The selected room was on the lower floor, which affected the view, though it was bright and well-decorated.

Noisy room with construction next door ongoing moved to new room but the bathroom had foul sewer smell which the staff must be aware of as they had the disinfectant at the ready and often opened the downstairs doors to vent the odor

The hotel is very close to the red bus tours and only a few minutes walk to the train station. The hotel is 2 stops (15-20 minute walk) from the main tourist area where there are lots of restaurants and where the nightlife is.

I didn´t think the customer service was good. When my husband and I first entered the lady at reception there did not even look up until I was standing in front of her for about 20 seconds. All the other times I entered the lobby the other staff would just look at not once was I greeted with a smile.

It made exploring so much easier and more fun since I could just step outside and discover Lisbon's beauty on foot.

The balcony offered a lovely view, but the room had a terrible smell.

The location is marvellous and handy, within a close distance from World War i memorial in Lisbon. Near the venue you can find a tube station. The stuff are all competent and knowledgeable and can show you hotel's very nice traditional restaurant.

The bathrooms are very bad.

Charming little and reasonably clean place overall with comfortable and best possible location right beside a metro stop which was excellent.

View worth the walk

Our room had an amazing view and the bedding was cool and clean. Caterina at the front desk was helpful with all my questions.

We had to park far away, and dealing with parking fines was frustrating. We weren't informed about the payment meter until it was too late.

The staff were very friednly and helpful! the theme of the hotel was great! All rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable!
